Explosive action and deeply intense emotions really show the amount of love from the creators

## Reze Arc
### Soundtrack
The soundtrack is excellent. I love both the vocal tracks and the non vocal tracks. They all really elevate the emotion and add so much depth to the scenes, both the action and the emotional moments. That's all I can say.
### Thoughts
Chainsaw Man: The Reze Arc is the first piece of official Chainsaw Man media I've ever consumed. It's an explosive movie that packs two fists of action and emotion at the same time. I've never really seen a movie structured in such a way that all of the action is at the end. It's a nice breath of fresh air.
I'm definitely sold on the animation style of Chainsaw Man. The slice of life scenes are excellent, almost taken out of a visual novel. The details and colors are so good there and they speak so much as to what the scene is about. There is clear intent in every single pixel. Other than that, there are the excellently dynamic fight scenes. Wow, this is definitely the best animated fights I've ever seen. They managed to capture everything good from something like Dan Da Dan and do it in their own incredibly vibrant style. Holy shit, it's so fucking good. It's so gritty yet vibrant, dark yet bright, and amazing in general.
I think the weakest point is in the story. I don't know much about Chainsaw Man (for context, the movie is the first thing I watched), so there are some parts that really feel a bit rushed and kind of don't make sense, like Denji's date with Makima at the start. I get it's supposed to show that he's being manipulated by her, but I didn't really get that strong of a feeling. Other than that, I feel like Reze and Denji's development together felt a bit rushed. Of course, it's supposed to be a quick movie about Reze's "deception", but I can't really see Denji falling in that trap as fast as the movie told it. Definitely would've loved more runtime, but it's still very good.
Overall, CSM: The Reze Arc is an excellent movie that will definitely blow people's minds away. The slice of life emotional scenes hit you in a weirdly sentimental way, even if you haven't watched the first season of Chainsaw Man. On the other hand, the action scenes really wow you in a gritty way. The explosion of colors you see every time Denji and Reze are on the screen is mesmerizing. I love the splatters of blood and bombs. Chainsaw, Man. This definitely makes me want to rate CSM as a whole at a 9/10 Gem-Gem. I can't wait to watch the anime.
